Q: What is the process used in making the seder plate? A: A digital photo of the image seen on the seder plate and trivets is transferred to marble tile, much like any computer file is transferred to paper. Instead of paper, however, the special printer prints directly on marble.
Q: Are the seder plate and trivet heat safe? Dishwasher safe? A: Both items are heat safe. The trivet could be put in the dishwasher, but the silicone "feet" on the bottom will come off after multiple washings. Handwashing is therefore recommended. The seder plate should not be placed in the dishwasher.
Q: What is the return policy? A: The seder plate and trivet can be returned for breakage only.
Q: How much variation can I expect in the marble tiles? A:Because the tiles are a natural stone product, some variation will occur and, in fact, add to the beauty and uniqueness of the items. The seder plate will have a pitted and rough back, with a honed front, where you'll find the image. The marble for the trivet will be more unifornly smooth, but will have variations in color and veining, often with rough edges.
Q: Do you provide gift boxes? A: Gift boxes can be provided for the trivets.
Q: What other products do you offer? A: Vegetarianseder is a subsidiary of herzbergdesigns, which offers watercolor collages, tiles and trivets. The herzbergdesigns website is currently under construction.
